This painting is another from my series from Bodie, California. There were wild irises blooming in the meadows and around the ruins of the old ghost town. I got down on my stomache and took a photo of the iris in the frame of the doorway. It makes me contemplate that change is going to happen anyway, so we might as well be open to it!
